For 11 years since 1998, www.tripod.com has generously hosted my site for free. It started as a hobby of building websites for an IRC chat undernet server channel #surigao website where list of channel members who are all surigaonon both those in the country and abroad, the site also contains about surigao del norte and its tourist spots. But due to the increasing monthly traffic and growing popularity, the site has to have its own domain. Thus, I created www.SurigaoIslands.com. This website is updated regularly through contributions from different sources i.e. the local government, non-governmental organizations, private companies and other concerned individuals.The highest recorded site statistics was last May. 2006 when it had 42,000 visits and 3.6 million hits in a month. The website is increasingly getting visitors from different countries all over the world. Through sponsorships of events in different major cities, the site is exposed thru advertising materials such as Banners, Posters and Multimedia.

Needless to say, this site is for you... who knows that Surigao has a lot to offer.
