Winning groups from the Free Interpretation category, including Bais City Festival of Harvest and Tribu Masadyaon, showcasing creative and modern dance routines inspired by Filipino culture and traditions. The performers are dressed in innovative costumes under colorful stage lights.
The recently concluded Sinulog Festival 2025 Grand Parade, held at the Cebu City Sports Center, was a spectacular celebration of faith, culture, and artistry. Thousands of spectators and devotees gathered to witness the vibrant performances, colorful costumes, and heartfelt tributes to the Santo Niño. After a day of fierce competition, the winners have been officially announced, showcasing the best of the best in street dancing, ritual showdowns, and free interpretation categories.

Street Dancing Competition

The street dancing category brought life and energy to the streets of Cebu City, with competing groups showcasing their creativity, precision, and cultural pride.

  1. 1st Place: City of Carcar – 1,000,000 Php Cash

  2. 2nd Place: Lumad Basakanon (Basak, San Nicolas, Cebu City) – 700,000 Php Cash

  3. 3rd Place: Bais City Festival of Harvest (Negros Oriental) – 500,000 Php Cash

  4. 4th Place: Dumaguete Sandurot Festival (Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental) – 300,000 Php Cash

  5. 5th Place: City of Kidapawan Performing Arts Guild – 200,000 Php Cash


Sinulog-based Competition (Ritual Showdown)

The ritual showdown category highlighted the deep-rooted traditions and devotion to the Santo Niño, with performances that left the audience in awe.

  1. 1st Place: City of Carcar – 3,000,000 Php Cash

  2. 2nd Place: City of Mandaue – 2,000,000 Php Cash

  3. 3rd Place: City of Talisay – 1,500,000 Php Cash

  4. 4th Place: Danao City Government – 1,000,000 Php Cash

  5. 5th Place: Inayawan Talents Guild Cultural Dance Troupe (Inayawan, Cebu City) – 750,000 Php Cash

Best in Costume: City of Mandaue – 100,000 Php Cash


Free Interpretation

The free interpretation category allowed participants to showcase their creativity and innovation, blending traditional and modern elements in their performances.

  1. 1st Place: Bais City Festival of Harvest (Negros Oriental) – 3,000,000 Php Cash

  2. 2nd Place: Tribu Masadyaon (Toledo City) – 2,000,000 Php Cash

  3. 3rd Place: Lapu-Lapu City – 1,500,000 Php Cash

  4. 4th Place: Lumad Basakanon (Basak, San Nicolas, Cebu City) – 1,000,000 Php Cash

  5. 5th Place: Tribu Malipayon (Consolacion) – 750,000 Php Cash

Best in Costume: Tribu Masadyaon (Toledo City) – 100,000 Php Cash
