About Barton
A very private bed and breakfast perched at the highest peak of Ceniza Heights, Surigao City. Barton’s has been opened five years ago and it is growing and no longer the best kept secret of the city. We will have a tennis court and a walking jogging path that will be completed by July 2014, weather permitting. The giant screen Zumba room and gym is now open, free to our guests. Barton’s was initially conceived as a family retreat for the legendary guerilla officer and daredevil bike rider Richard Barton (Dick Barton) and Florida Aranas Barton who migrated to the U.S.A in the early 60′s.
It is managed by the couples eldest daughter, Aileen Aranas Barton when she herself returned from the U.S.A. five years ago and now decided to share this beautiful piece of heaven here in Surigao.
We, at Barton’s provide our guests with the best accommodation, the friendliest staff and a real home away from home atmosphere like no other. Between the inherent hospitality of a Filipina and a touch of western friendliness, our guests have the best of both worlds.

ROOM ACCOMMODATION
All suite rooms (1 or 2 beds) are only Php1,000 per night.
Double Occupancy
Includes complimentary breakfast.
Additional person is Php300 with Php150 additional breakfast.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned with hot and cold water and bathtub, Cable TV and WIFI.
Plus a private veranda that showcase the magnificent view of Surigao City and neighboring islands, cascading mountains and Surigao River.

How to find us?
From the airport, bus terminal, Gaisano mall take the local multicab or tricycle to Gateway Hotel. Turn right at the Gateway and proceed to top of hill. Turn right at the end and go to the next corner and turn left. Proceed to end and turn right, go about 200 meters and Barton’s is at the right.
From the city proper, go to Gateway Hotel and turn left till road ends. When the road ends go right. About a few meters the road ends again , turn left for a few meters and turn right . See Barton’s at the top of the hill, Welcome.
From the pier, direct the tricycle driver to Ceniza Heights. At the gate to Ceniza Heights, follow the signs to Barton’s at the top of the hill.
