Surigao Airport consultancy deal announced by DoTC
THE DEPARTMENT of Transportation and Communications (DoTC) is spending P4.71 million to hire a consultant that will assess the environmental impact of the development works at the Surigao Airport.
“The DoTC now calls for the submission of eligibility documents for the conduct of an Environmental Impact Assessment Study...,” the agency said in a request for expressions of interest posted on its Web site.
Interested consultants must submit their eligibility documents by Oct. 13.
The agency will draw up a short list, with 50% of the score based on the “applicable experience” of the firm, 30% on the qualification of key personnel, and 20% on the current work load.
The DoTC will then evaluate the bids of short-listed parties using the quality-cost based evaluation/election procedure, assigning the technical and financial proposals weights of 80% and 20%, respectively.
